The Radiologic Technology program is designed to provide instruction to prepare students in the routine, general and fluoroscopic procedures, special procedures, and use of specialized equipment and techniques.
Graduates will be able to communicate within a healthcare setting, apply critical thinking skills, demonstrate professional and ethical behavior . Lastly student will demonstrate clinical competency.

To receive a Certificate in Surgical Technology, students must complete 48.0 credit hours (1557 clock hours). This certificate program can be completed in 12 months (48 weeks) for full-time students or 20 months (80 weeks) for part- time students. Evening students will be required to complete the Externship portion of the program during the day.

Students will have the opportunity to complete HVAC certifications, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Safety Certification, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Refrigerant Transition Certification. Outside work required.
